I didn’t know where Khloe and I had gone wrong but I missed her so much. She was my extra push but things had fallen apart. I found out through Deonte that her and Omarion weren’t talking anymore. I thought things were great between them but I guess I was wrong. She’d texted me to say that her mother was sick and she was going back home to help comfort and be there for her. That was weird to me because how could she want to be there for someone who had turned their back on her for a man?

I'd really been going through it and I needed to talk to her badly just to vent. I’ve never been one to kiss ass though, so the thought of me constantly calling her went out of the door. I figured that when she was ready to talk she knew my number.

Recently, I found out that Deonte was cheating on me. I'm not sure if he was still mad because I said I wasn’t ready for kids or what. I figured if he was then the hell with him. I can’t sit up and be nobody’s fool. It hurt me for the simple fact that I was giving him what he wanted on a daily basis. I’d even started giving him head after I vowed to never do it and this was the thanks that I got. I only started doing it to satisfy him in that area, thinking that maybe it would level things out for a while.

“Your friend is in the rest room throwing up and crying," Bre'yana, one of my classmates, whispered as she passed me going to her desk.

"Were you talking to me, Bre'yana" I asked, turning around too face her.

“Yeah you are still friends with Khloe right?"she questioned.

I didn't answer her. I just got out of my seat and headed to the bathroom. Regardless of how Khloe was acting she was still my best friend so if she was sick I needed to be there for her. As I entered the bathroom I saw Khloe standing at the sink crying. I paused before taking a step closer. I was kind of scared of how she would react to me approaching her. Besides that was the first time I’d been that close to her since she’d moved out.

"Khloe, what's wrong?" I asked wrapping my arms around her neck cautiously.

She shocked me by hugging me back and continuing to cry. "I missed you so much, Amiria. I fucked up bad, ‘Miria."

"Shhhhhhh. Kay, it’s okay. Whatever it is I did to you, I’m sorry. I just want you to stop crying and tell me what's wrong!" I said. I needed my best friend. I'd seen her hurt before but this was a different type pain. I could see in her eyes that things had gone from ten to zero. Maybe she cheated on Omar, I thought because I had been seeing her with the new white guy. But that couldn’t be the case.
